Shawnee Blinds and Window Treatments

Custom Blinds for Kansas City Windows

Blinds are classic window treatments that are affordable and match any type of decor in your home. You have many choices in the style, including cellular, wood, faux wood, aluminum, and vinyl.

Our Blinds Selection

Choose from different materials and colors in our six different types of blinds.

Cellular Blinds

Cellular or honeycomb blinds, as they are commonly called, are very energy efficient. They have little pockets in between two layers of material that trap air next to the windows of your home. This keeps hot air in the summer and cold air in the winter from entering your living spaces, so you use less energy to keep your home at a comfortable temperature all year round.

Vertical Blinds

Vertical blinds work very well in large windows or sliding glass doors. When open, the stack of the vanes is on one side of the window or door, so they don’t obstruct either from opening. You have choices of materials that they are made from, such as aluminum, vinyl, or fabric. You can also choose from a huge range of colors and patterns as well to suit your taste.

Wood Blinds

Beautify your home with hardwood blinds to embrace nature. Solid wood is heavy, and it is very durable because of the weight. Wood blinds can be stained or painted in any color you wish to match your decor seamlessly. We can stain them to match your trim work and blend in, or we can paint them in a bright and cheery accent color.

Faux Wood Blinds

Faux wood blinds are just as beautiful as hardwood blinds, but they are at a lower price point. They are made of materials that don’t bend, crack, split, peel, yellow, or fade in the bright sunlight. This makes faux wood blinds the perfect window covering for your hot and humid areas, such as bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms.

Aluminum Blinds

Modern aluminum blinds give you many choices over the mini blinds that first hit the consumer market and were only available in one or two colors. You now have several colors to choose from, and you can choose between the vane sizes that you like most. The wider vanes look more modern and work well in larger windows where the small vanes would look too busy.

Vinyl Blinds

Vinyl blinds are lightweight, easy to maintain, and available in a large selection of colors and patterns. You can choose a neutral color palette and then pair them with some beautiful panels to give you more functionality and greater light and heat control as well.
